We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher who is interested in developing the special curricular trajectory and goal management for each student as well as overseeing and training staff to the student's goal procedures while rr to the Site Director.We offer a small, collaborative, and caring group of caring and nerdy individuals where we support one another to provide excellent services for each client we serve. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. This job requires the ability to run and walk for a minimum of 5 minutes, escort a student for a minimum of 5 minutes, and be able to climb a six foot fence. This position must be able to respond quickly to active and aggressive children, adolescents, and young adults ages 5 to 22. Physical response may include evasion, and/or performing approved escorts, holds, and restraints to maintain student and staff safety.
