Job Highlights

$15.00 - $16.90 per hour!

As a Temporary Stock Team Member, you will play a crucial role in our stores during peak seasons, ensuring that products are always accessible to customers. This position is vital for maximizing sales potential by facilitating a smooth and efficient flow of merchandise from our stockroom to the sales floor.

You will be responsible for adhering to stockroom standard operating procedures (SOP) and achieving brand standards in shipment processing, replenishment, markdowns, and merchandising. Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage merchandise shipments
• Replenish inventory on the sales floor
• Handle markdowns, re-ticketing, stock transfers, and damaged goods
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked stockroom and sales floor

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Available for a flexible work schedule
• Comfortable using technology (computers and mobile devices), or willing to learn
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to perform essential duties of the role

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in a warehouse or inventory management role (not required but preferred)

Role Purpose:

The Stock Associate contributes to store sales and KPI targets by optimizing merchandise flow from the stockroom to the sales floor. Reporting to the Store Manager, this role encompasses all aspects of stockroom SOP and aims to meet brand standards for various operational processes.

Your Impact:

Sales & Omni Channels

• Manage store operations with a focus on product flow to/from the sales floor
• Fulfill omni-channel requests in alignment with UA processes

Brand Image & Customer Experience

• Exemplify the UA service culture and customer expectations
• Communicate brand messages effectively while assisting customers
• Adhere to Under Armour's visual standards to enhance merchandise presentation

Retail Operations

• Achieve brand productivity standards for various operational processes
• Maintain stockroom SOP to support efficient management of merchandise
• Process shipments efficiently and monitor productivity metrics
• Ensure safety standards are upheld and report any concerns
• Comply with Loss Prevention policies and report any suspicious activities

Team Collaboration/Self-Improvement

• Work collaboratively with teammates to reach store objectives
• Take responsibility for personal growth and improvement opportunities

Qualifications:

• Basic literacy, numeracy, listening, and communication skills
• Fluency in the local language
• Competency in using computers and technology
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting

Requirements:

• 0-3 months of experience in a retail sports/apparel environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends

Physical Requirements:

• Able to handle or relocate products weighing up to 25 lbs/12 kgs
• Capable of moving around for extended periods with short breaks
• Must be able to access all areas of the store, including the selling floor, stock area, and registers
