Overview

A Sales Consultant will be responsible for performing customer service duties accurately and promptly, in accordance with all company policies and procedures. The role involves customer education and follow-up on maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and thank customers courteously, providing fast and friendly service
  • Promote sales by explaining the benefits of products and services
  • Perform vehicle inspections and communicate maintenance needs
  • Handle sales duties including pricing, promotions, suggestive selling, and stock management
  • Follow company programs, policies, and procedures
  • Attend weekly meetings to review safety, policies, and product updates
  • Monitor customer areas and manage waiting customers
  • Assist with opening and closing the store
  • Support inventory control and physical counts
  • Complete sales reports and monitor daily sales and profits
  • Assist with merchandising, advertising, and promotions
  • Prepare sales documentation and conduct sales transactions
  • Report discrepancies and manage ticket profitability
  • Maintain facility appearance and protect company assets
  • Build relationships with customers and staff, motivating positive experiences
  • Ensure equipment maintenance and handle complaints professionally
  • Maintain cleanliness and store appearance per standards
  • Use checklists to ensure policy adherence
  • Comply with all regulations and work schedules
  • Communicate professionally with management and vendors
  • Report maintenance issues and assist in training new employees
  • Keep facilities, tools, and shelves clean and stocked
  • Complete required training timely
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 or older
  • Availability for holidays, weekends, and after-hours work
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to learn technical concepts and operate a computer
  • Ability to operate vehicles safely
  • Effective communication skills
  • Willingness to handle hazardous materials and work outdoors
  • Adherence to PPE regulations
  • Good sensory abilities (vision, hearing, smell)
  • Physical ability to stand, drive, and lift up to 75 pounds
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screening
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
