Overview

A Sales Consultant will be responsible for performing customer service duties accurately and timely, in accordance with all company programs, policies, and procedures. This includes ensuring proper customer education and follow-through on customer maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and thank each customer courteously, providing fast and friendly service.
  • Promote sales by explaining benefits of services and products.
  • Perform vehicle inspections, print maintenance requirements, and promote needed products and services.
  • Execute all sales duties per company policy, including pricing, promotions, suggestive selling, and stocking merchandise.
  • Attend weekly store meetings to review safety, policies, and product updates.
  • Monitor customer service area and assist with opening and closing the store.
  • Assist in inventory control, report generation, merchandising, advertising, and promotions.
  • Prepare sales documentation and conduct sales transactions accurately.
  • Manage ticket average and profitability, and maintain store appearance and equipment.
  • Build effective customer and staff relationships, handle complaints courteously, and ensure a clean environment.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including PPE use.
  • Maintain communication with management and assist in training new employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after hours.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to learn technical concepts.
  • Ability to operate a computer, vehicles, and handle hazardous materials.
  • Physical ability to work outdoors, stand for long hours, and lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and pass background checks.

Preferred Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in automotive shop environment.
  • Valid driver's license, strong communication, sales skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.
