Job Summary:General janitorial services, including cleaning common areas, foyers, offices, restrooms, elevators, walkways, windows, hand-rails, entrances, stairs, drinking fountains, trash removal, dusting and other assigned items/areas.We have two positions available with preference of afternoon to early evening work hours, but flexible based upon the right candidate.Responsibilities:Responsible for basic cleaning and janitorial use of equipment, cleaning chemicals and toolsRestroom cleaning involves restocking paper products in dispensers, trash removal, sanitize and clean fixtures, mirror cleaning, clean partition doors and walls, sweep and mop floors, and clean toilets and urinalsMove tables and chairs, vacuum, reposition furniture, trash removal and replace trash linersMonitor and remove all trash from containersGeneral cleaning includes dust mopping floors, sweeping, vacuuming, gum removal, dusting, floor scrubbing use of small machineryPerforms additional cleaning duties as requested, including janitorial closets, spills, and related clean-up work for trash and restroom incidentsRetain and restock carts and closets, as cleaning requiresQualifications:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 6 months to 1 year experience, in a related work experienceIndependent worker and highly self-motivated for a fast pace environmentStrong communication skills and decision making skillsWork Requirements:Must be willing to work assigned hours Mon-Fri, occasional SaturdaysMax hours: 20 hours per week, average 4 hours per work dayCompensation:Pay: $18 per hour, no benefitsPersonal paid time off and one-week paid vacation, after 90 day probation periodFirst Baptist Church of Ozark offers a competitive salary based upon work experience with a work environment that makes a meaningful difference.
